Synergy’s SWIFT Service Bureau was designed to provide a viable and low cost hosted connectivity service to SWIFTNet for financial institutions, corporate treasuries, fund managers and dealer/brokers who want to benefit from increased ROI while reducing risk and insulating the company from the frustrations of upgrades and the increasing operational complexities associated with an in-house or direct access to SWIFT.
With a large number of banking relationships to manage in a very busy organisation, many corporate treasury departments can derive substantial benefit from SWIFT connectivity.
Synergy’s SWIFT Service Bureau will appeal to Corporate members of SWIFT, whether their access to SWIFTNet is via an MA-CUG or SCORE. Connectivity is via Synergy’s SWIFT Alliance Gateway (SAG) and SWIFTAlliance Access (SAA) Server and this can be via a secure Internet VPN connection or a dedicated leased line.
The bureau will take care of all your host and manually generated messages via automated file transfer (AFT) and IBM MQ. We can offer you an optional service for message transformation, i.e. converting your proprietary host data to SWIFT message format and vice versa.
For manual message entry users can access SWIFTnet via our ‘thin-client’ application, MessageMaker, or by using SWIFTAlliance Workstation or SWIFTAlliance Messenger.
