Bank Leumi Experience a Smooth Migration to Synergy’s SWIFTNet Hosted Service

In 2006, the SWIFTNet Phase 2 migration, would have been mandated a substantial investment in new hardware and software. Bank Leumi (UK) therefore decided to take advantage of Synergy’s Service Bureau for SWIFTNet Hosting to provide low cost, high availability SWIFTNet connectivity.

Connection to Synergy’s bureau is via a fixed link; the connection to the SWIFT network resides between the bureau and SWIFT and is managed by Synergy.

The project to subscribe to the bureau service was well managed by Synergy - the bank experienced a smooth migration. The team at Bank Leumi (UK) had no problem acquiring approval for the project from their senior management due to the substantial cost savings involved.
