Guaranty Trust Bank (UK) Depend on Synergy for SWIFTNet
Guaranty Trust Bank (UK) Limited is the UK subsidiary of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, one of the leading financial services providers in Nigeria. Offering both retail and wholesale banking products and services to private, corporate and institutional clients, the UK bank was licensed in March 2008 and began trading in earnest in July of that year.
Having decided from the outset that a SWIFT connection was an essential service to support clients of Guaranty Trust Bank (UK), Synergy were selected to provide a hosted connection to SWIFTNet.
The solution includes Synergy’s own web-based message entry, validation and reporting software (ClaritySuite) delivered using the Software as a Service model. Since the service went live, Guaranty Trust Bank have extended the Synergy solution to include the COFI, anti-money-laundering compliance filter.
